BJP Vice President Dilip Ghosh
The BJP's national vice-president Dilip Ghosh slammed the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) on Monday, saying the party was sending all its corrupt leaders to Tripura to campaign for the municipal polls.

He is believed to have pointed a finger at the AITC's Kunal Ghosh, who has been camping in Tripura for the civic polls and actively campaigning for his party.

"Trinamool Congress is sending its corrupt and jailed leaders and criminals to Tripura to work for the municipal polls. The credibility of these leaders is not clean," Dilip Ghosh said, adding that there are many leaders with a criminal background who have been sent to Tripura.

Kunal Ghosh was arrested in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam and was arrested in 2013 by the special investigation team set up by the Mamata Banerjee government.

Responding to Dilip Ghosh's comments, Kunal Ghosh claimed that Union home minister Amit Shah and several other BJP leaders have many cases against them.
