Prime Minister Narendra Modi greets the gathering during the NDA conclave, held to mark the completion of 12 years of the NDA government and PM Modi becoming India's longest-serving elected prime minister, in New Delhi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday thanked Chief Ministers and leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for their warm wishes, vowing that the alliance would continue to work together with renewed vigour in service of the nation and towards the goal of building a "Viksit Bharat".

He added that the coalition's journey has been guided by a shared commitment to national interests and regional aspirations.

In a post on X, PM Modi said the NDA's collective spirit has strengthened democracy, deepened cooperative federalism and accelerated development across the country. He added that the alliance has provided a stable government over the past 12 years, helping drive progress across multiple sectors.


Sharing glimpses of the event held at Bharat Mandapam, PM Modi took "a Jhalmuri break" during the NDA meeting. "All our leaders greatly enjoyed this snack!" he wrote in a post on X.

Addressing the NDA leaders' meeting, Modi said, "I am overwhelmed, grateful, in this political journey, by seeing many ups and downs, one day this destination will come, I had never thought. As an elected PM, to continuously serve as PM, I think it as my biggest fortune. You felicitated, showed respect on the occasion, for this, I am grateful to you."

He expressed gratitude to all the companions, including members of the NDA family. "This reflects your warmth and generosity, for I do not view this journey as a personal achievement. In every respect, it is our collective achievement, a shared accomplishment for every constituent party of the NDA."

India recorded a growth of 7.7% in FY26, he said , adding that India recorded a GDP growth of 7.6% in the last quarter of FY26, "which was not an easy feat, given the fragile world order."
