Now, Sharad Yadav calls colleague Nitish Kumar 'faltu'

After his tirade against Rahul Gandhi, JD(U) President Sharad Yadav on Tuesday courted fresh controversy by dubbing his senior party colleague and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as 'faltu' (useless).

MARAURHA (Bihar): After his tirade against Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, JD(U) President Sharad Yadav on Tuesday courted fresh controversy by dubbing his senior party colleague and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as 'faltu' (useless).

"Ye dono Lalu aur Nitish vikas, vikas ki baat karte hain.. Lalu.... Nitish faltu hai (Both Lalu and Nitish are useless)," Yadav told an election meeting at Gaura Vishrampur High School ground under Marauhra assembly constituency in Bihar's Saran district.

He also called the Congress "a faltu party (useless party)."

Yadav's remarks came barely 36 hours after he said that Rahul Gandhi should be thrown into the river Ganges.

Attempts to seek a clarification from Yadav for the remarks at today's meeting failed to yield a response.

"Saheb is resting after the election campaign in a hotel," his aide said.
