NCP releases first list of candidates for Arunachal Pradesh polls
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Arunachal Pradesh has released the first list of candidates for April 9 assembly election in the state.

The party released the names of 14 candidates in its first list yesterday after approval of the party's Central Working Committee, state unit general secretary Nima Sangey Saling said here today.
The party had fielded Dorjee Wangdi Namsa from Kalaktang constituency, Sherge Thungon from Bomdila, Dr Taba Nirmali from Yachuli, Michi Tani (Ziro-Hapoli), Thaji Gichak Kiogi (Tali), former minister Daklo Nidak from Daporijo in Upper Subansiri district and former MLA Tara Payeng from Taliha.
The other candidates and their respective constituencies include, Marpi Basar (Basar), Tommar Bagra (Aalo East), Ogen Jamoh (Geku-Mariyang), John Jugli (Changlang South), Nongming Kamba Longchang (Changlang North), Jowang Hosai (Borduria-Bogapani) and Pongsa Saham from Longding-Pumao constituency, Saling added.
The party would release its final list by tomorrow, he added.
