Himachal Pradesh Assembly Election: BJP to get clear majority, predict exit polls

Times Now exit polls results indicate that the BJP is all set to get an overwhelming majority.

After over a month of high-pitch poll campaigning in Himachal Pradesh, exit polls have started trickling in. The results will be declared on December 18th, but exit polls may indicate which way the winds are blowing in Himachal Pradesh. People in the hill state have been alternating between the Congress and the BJP in Assembly elections every five years.

Times Now exit polls results indicate that the BJP is all set to get an overwhelming majority in Himachal

According to Times Now-VMR exit polls, BJP will get 51 seats out of 68 seats.


News Nation too predicts a clear BJP majority in Himachal Pradesh with 43-47 seats. The halfway mark is 35.

The India-Today-Axis exit polls have predicted 51 seats for BJP while Congress and others are expected to get 16 and 1 seats respectively.

Aaj Tak-Axis exit poll gave 47-55 seats to the saffron party, 13-20 to the Congress and 0-2 to others.

Among other exit polls, the News X survey predicted that the BJP would win 42-50 seats and the Congress, 18-24.

ABP News is predicting 38 seats to BJP, while Congress may get 29.

C-Voters has a favourable outcome for Congress which seems to be getting 25 seats while BJP has been predicted to get 41 seats - a comfortable majority nonetheless.
