'In every national security decision, Doval had a role': Amit Shah praises NSA at award ceremony

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday hailed National Security Advisor Ajit Doval’s contribution to India’s national security and foreign policy, saying his “role and advice” has been behind every major security decision taken by Prime Minister Speaking at an event after presenting the Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026 to Doval, Shah said the NSA has played a key role in strengthening India’s strategic capabilities and transforming the country into a stronger and more confident nation. Shah recalled that appointing Doval as NSA was among the first key decisions taken by Modi after assuming office in 2014.
