Exit polls 2016: Mamata back in West Bengal, Modi magic works in Assam

This year's biggest poll battle ended today with voting in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry. The last two months saw multi-phased polling in West Bengal and Assam. BJP's stakes are the highest in this round of Assembly elections.

The counting of votes is scheduled for May 19. Can Mamata Banerjee repeat her magic of 2011 or will the Congress-Left combine stage an upset in West Bengal?

Will Jayalalithaa script history by becoming the first CM since MGR to win back-to-back elections and can BJP redeem itself from the setbacks in Bihar and Delhi. Here's what the exit polls say:
