Delhi fire: CM Kejriwal announces Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia, orders magisterial inquiry

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited a factory in Anaj Mandi area, where a massive fire broke out in the early hours of Sunday, and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the family members of the deceased. The chief minister also announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh to those injured in the blaze that claimed at least 43 lives. He said "It is a very sad incident. I have ordered a magisterial inquiry into it. Compensation Rs 10 lakhs each to be given to families of those dead and Rs 1 lakh each to those injured. The expense of medical treatment of those injured to be borne by the govt."
