Amit Shah: Left is not right for any part of India

BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday credited his party's big gains in the northeast to PM Narendra Modi's 'Act East' policy and took a dig at the Left for its poor showing in Tripura where it was in power for 25 years. "It has been proven that the Left is not right in any part of the country," he quipped at a news conference post the results, referring to the fact that the CPI(M) and its allies remain in power only in Kerala. He also dedicated the win to "all BJP workers who suffered attacks by Marxist cadre".
