New Delhi: Union home minister Amit Shah on Monday attacked Lok Sabha's Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, and INDIA bloc over their 'Voto Chori' allegations. Shah said the government was ready to convene a special session of Parliament on the issue and challenged Gandhi to a debate in the House.

Shah was speaking after leading BJP's 'Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy' padayatra in Hyderabad.

"Rahul Gandhi holds the Constitution in hand but doesn't respect it. Rahulji, you don't allow Parliament to run. Be it EVMs, SIR, or infiltrators, I challenge you from Hyderabad. We are ready to convene a special session of Parliament. Come for debate," he said. "If a Parliament session is held, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will 'shred Congress into pieces'."

Congress was trying to stop the SIR exercise to protect "infiltrators from Bangladesh" in the electoral rolls, Shah alleged and asserted that BJP would remove every infiltrator from the electoral rolls.
