Amit Shah stated that Rahul Gandhi would never become Prime Minister while addressing a gathering in Hyderabad. He accused Congress of opposing the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls to protect their alleged vote bank. Shah also claimed...

Addressing a gathering in Hyderabad, Shah questioned the Congress's opposition to SIR, asking why the party was not in power in several states if electoral roll revision was responsible for its electoral setbacks.
He also alleged Rs 12 lakh crore corruption during Cong-led UPA regime.
"The entire Congress and company want to stop SIR because infiltrators are their vote bank," Shah alleged.
The Home Minister also accused the Congress of attempting to come to power through bogus voting, alleging that the party wanted to prevent the removal of ineligible voters from electoral rolls.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi's claim that 13 crore votes had been removed, Shah alleged that the Congress leader was lying.
"Rahul Gandhi claims that 13 crore votes have been deleted. He is lying. Of these 13 crore names, around 6.25 crore belong to people who have shifted to other places. Should a person who has moved elsewhere be allowed to vote in two places? Nearly 2.8 crore, or around three crore, people have died. Should the names of those who have died be removed from the electoral rolls or not? Rahul Gandhi, when these people are no longer alive, who will come and cast their votes?" he said.
He also targeted the Congress government in Telangana, accusing it of turning the state into an "ATM for Delhi durbar".
