"No party in Indian politics has been as badly targeted as the Aam Aadmi Party; our second-in-command and our third have both been hauled up by central agencies on false charges," said Kejriwal.
He added these actions were being falsely perpetrated by the Central government, further claiming that there was no actual evidence against Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
"Agencies are saying there has been Rs 100 crore in bribes. Where is this money? So many raids have happened, including at Sisodia's house, how have they not found this money," asked the Delhi Chief Minister.
The Central Bureau of Investigation had arrested Manish Sisodia in February on charges of corruption in Delhi's new liquor policy. The central agency alleged that the national capital's excise policy for 2021-22 to grant licences to liquor traders favoured certain dealers, who allegedly bribed the AAP government. The policy has since been scrapped.
"CBI, ED filed false affidavits in excise policy case in court; they're torturing people to testify against Manish Sisodia and me," Kejriwal added.
The AAP chief further added that the Delhi excise policy was excellent and would have ended corruption in the business.
