5 state elections: No political rallies till January 15 and other big announcements by ECI

The Election Commission of India announced assembly elections in 5 states. While Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa go to polls in a single phase, Manipur will get over in two phases and Uttar Pradesh polls are divided in 7 phases. This time ECI has taken the path breaking decision to disallow rallies and yatras. Watch the big announcements here.
