The five days of Diwali are as follows:October 29 (Tuesday): Dhanteras or Dhan Trayodashi/Yama Deepam
Dhanteras marks the first day of Diwali. It is considered auspicious to buy new metal items, particularly gold and silver. According to Drik Panchang, the Dhanteras puja muhurat will be from 6:31 PM to 8:13 PM, lasting 1 hour and 41 minutes. People worship Lord Kubera and Goddess Lakshmi on this day.
October 31 (Thursday): Narak Chaturdashi, also known as Choti Diwali
The second day, Narak Chaturdashi, will be celebrated on October 31. This day honors Lord Krishna’s victory over the demon Narakasura. The Abhyang Snan Muhurat, as per Drik Panchang, will be from 5:20 AM to 6:32 AM, lasting 1 hour and 13 minutes.
