Telugu actors Rana Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya collaborate for web series Maya Bazaar

Rana Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya, who are not only cousins but also good friends, have partnered to produce a Telugu web series called Maya Bazaar. The debutant directorial project features Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Jhansi, Eesha Rebba, Aditi Myakal, Ravi Varma, Hariteja, Navdeep, Raja Chembolu, Sunaina Badam, Harika Vedula, and others in key roles. Rana Daggubati, who owns Spirit Media, launched the project officially in September 2022 but is yet to complete it. Through Spirit Media, Rana Daggubati aims to produce content and provide opportunities to fresh talent.

Naga Chaitanya is also interested in producing content and has decided to join forces with Rana in this project.

Rana Daggubati's health had been a concern post the success of Baahubali. He has spoken about his kidney transplant in a recent interview, revealing that there is a certain heaviness that remains even after the physical issue has been fixed. Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya is busy preparing for his bilingual film Custody, which marks his Tamil debut. The film features Krithi Shetty as the lead actress, with Arvind Swami, Priyamani, Sampath Raj, Sarathkumar, Premgi, Vennela Kishore, and Premi Vishwanath in supporting roles. Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing the film, and Pavan Kumar is presenting it. Custody is set to release on May 12 in theatres.
