Vendor caught off guard

As seen in video, the man appeared to request a QR code for online payment. While the vendor went to fetch the QR scanner, the man drove off. The vendor, who depends on daily sales for his livelihood, was left helpless by the sudden departure.

The video, shared with the hashtag #Punjab, has drawn significant attention, with netizens dubbing the man “Anda Chor” (Egg Thief). Many condemned the act, pointing out the challenges small business owners face. “This is not just theft; it’s exploitation,” wrote one social media user.

Man revisits to settle payment next day

However, as per some reports, the story took an unexpected turn. The man reportedly returned to the vendor the following morning to pay the pending amount. He explained that he believed his online payment had gone through at the time. Upon realizing the transaction had failed, he revisited the shop to clear his dues.
