Politeness pays at this UK cafe! Chai costs less if you ask nicely
'Chaii Stop', a cafe selling desi chai in Preston city, gives discounts to those who ask for their tea politely

'Chaii Stop', a cafe selling desi chai in Preston city, gives discounts to those who ask for their order politely. And overcharges people who are rude while placing their order, ANI reported.
For the cafe, it's a bid to get customers to be kind and polite attitude towards their staff - something a lot of people forget or ignore while 'ordering' their food.
A picture of their menu card that has gone viral on social media shows how different rates apply depending on what customers say when they order their tea.
While a "Desi Chai" will cost you £5, "Desi Chai please" will get you a cup for £3 and "Hello, Desi Chai please" will come to even less at £1.90. It's the same of cup of tea, the only difference is in how you ask for it.
The Preston-based shop selling chai, street food and desserts was started by Usman Hussain, 29, in March this year, but the sign was introduced only recently.
"I think it’s a nice reminder to use your manners, because unfortunately sometimes we do need reminding," Usman told the UK-based newspaper.
A lot of people on the internet absolutely loved the idea. Others came out with their funny takes.
