Paramjeet Singh: Meet industrialist Anand Mahindra's startup hero

Industrialist Anand Mahindra is known for his inspiring tweets. Recently, the Chairman of Mahindra Group shared a post from The Better India in which he introduced Twitterati to his startup hero: a man named Paramjeet Singh.

"He is my ‘Start-up’ hero. What he has done takes much more spirit & courage than just starting up a business — he has restarted & reinvented his life … not just once, but twice…," Mahindra said on Twitter.

According to The Better India, Paramjit Singh used to be the sole distributor of the Rasna brand of soft drink concentrate, but lost everything in the 1984 riots. Then he started driving a taxi, but soon after he met with a bad accident.


"He was the sole distributor of "Rasna".Then the 1984 riots happened.He lost http://everything.So he restarted life by driving a taxi.6 yrs later,he had a terrible accident.He got back on his feet & now drives an auto.Hats Off to you,Mr.Paramjeet Singh!," The Better India tweeted.

Mahindra's tweet has so far attracted thousands of likes and hundreds have retweeted it at the time of writing this news.
