The protest in Noida, which began early in the day, led to congestion on key arterial roads connecting Delhi and Noida, including NH 9, severely disrupting the office rush hour. Long queues of vehicles were seen stretching for several kilometres, with many commuters stranded for hours.

Due to the protest in Noida today, frustrated commuters took to social media platform X, urging authorities to intervene and clear the roads. Many complained of being stuck in unmoving traffic despite starting early to avoid peak-hour congestion.ALSO READ: CBSE Class 10 Results 2026 coming tomorrow?
An employee of a private company said she left her home at around 7:30 am but remained stuck in traffic for over an hour without any significant movement.
"Bhai ye kaisa salary discussion h," another netizen asked on X. "I don't think these are IT sector employees," another one commented.
"This is absolutely unethical!! Dismiss entire such employee black list them . Destroying the property is not acceptable," netizens wrote, expressing anguish over the matter.
"Do they know they are torching the cars of one of their own? Who must hv paid hefty taxes too? Stupid buffoons!," said another.
Noida protest reason
Violence broke out in Phase 2 of Noida in Uttar Pradesh after workers gathered to protest over their demands for a salary increase. During the protest, vehicles and properties were vandalised, and stones were thrown, leading to chaos in the area. Police rushed to the spot and deployed a heavy force to control the situation.
