Tasty samosas are one of the most-popular street food in India that you can now find almost every part of the globe from Johannesburg to London and New York to Sydney. The triangle shaped samosas can be found in different fillings including chicken samosa and pizza samosa. But whatever the filling, they all appear the same from outside.

To solve this issue, a Bengaluru-based food shop has come up with an innovative idea. Famous for its different variety of samosas, the Samosa Party eatery, stamps their samosas with the kind of filling a samosa has inside it! The food innovation came to light, when a Twitter user named Shobhit Bakliwal posted a photo of two samosas stamped with labels of 'aloo' and 'noodles', indicating the kind of filling they have inside it.

The user posted the photo with a caption: "The real food tech innovation in Bengaluru." The idea has impressed several food lovers on Twitter, who praised the eatery's innovative idea.

Since the user shared the photos of these samosas, many twitter users have liked the idea and shared their comments on the same. The Samosa Party also responded to the post saying, "Thank you, Shobhit, glad you noticed. This solves an important customer problem sustainably - fillings can be identified without breaking the samosas in case of assorted orders."

Samosa Party is a start-up based in Bengaluru. It has raised $2 million in its preliminary funding in 2021. In its financial submissions, Samosa Party estimated that 60 million samosas are sold and eaten in India every day, which means a market opportunity of around $3.65 billion. According to the company's website, apart from Bengaluru the start-up has outlets in Delhi NCR and Hyderabad too. From Mutton Keema Samosa to Corn Cheese Samosa, the startup claims to sell samosas in 15 varieties.
