Internet reacts to "Wife North Indianaaa?" instant rasam advertisement
Bengaluru: A recent advertisement displayed on the back of a bus in Bengaluru has sparked controversy, with an X (formerly Twitter) user expressing displeasure over what they perceive as sexism and insult towards both North and South Indian popula...

A Twitter user, Tejas Dinkar, shared the ad, expressing his displeasure, stating it was sexist and insulting to both the north and south Indian populations.
"Today, I came across an ad that seems to be both sexist and insulting to both North and South India (from r/bangalore)," said Tejas Dinkar, sharing the image of the ad on X (formerly callled twitter).
However, opinions on the ad were divided, with some users finding it offensive and others suggesting a different perspective.
While some argued that the ad might be offensive to those where the wife is a north Indian homemaker, others urged for a more nuanced view, suggesting that it might promote national integration by encouraging marriage ties between North and South India.
"Also insulting rasam," another user said.
