'Farzi’ actress Raashii Khanna reveals Shahid Kapoor felt old hearing her words. Here's why

Raashii Khanna recently opened up about her first meeting with Shahid Kapoor. Raashii found it difficult to share screen time with Shahid Kapoor. She stated that during their first meeting, she told him that she had been watching his movies since she was a child. Then Shahid said, Don't say anything that makes him feel old.

South actor Raashii Khanna has snatched the eyeballs of the audiences for her performance in the Amazon Prime original 'Farzi'. The series, directed by Raj and DK, starred Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi.

Raashii also had a significant part in the Indian adaptation of the British television series "Luther," "Rudra-The Edge of Darkness," starring Ajay Devgn.


She also stated that her acting technique is very similar to Shahid's and acting and reacting go hand in hand. Raashii believes that because Vijay Sethupathi and Shahid Kapoor are so good at their jobs, her own performance improves.

Raashii expressed her joy at the success of 'Farzi,' saying that she is overwhelmed. She admitted that she had always been shy. She had a low opinion of herself. She had previously believed that she had discovered enough. But the love she has now is beyond her expectations, according to Raashi.

Raashii portrayed Megha in 'Farzi,' an RBI analyst with expertise in detecting counterfeit notes. Raashii accepted the role of 'Farzi' from the 'Family Man’ duo Raj-Dk in 2020. She accepted the offer despite not knowing anything about the script or her character. In an interview, the actor stated that Raj and Dk Sir are the forefathers of long format on OTTs. She did not think about the script or her character when she got the call from them. She simply said yes to them.

When asked about encountering 'farzi' (fake) notes in real life, Raashii advised keeping safe distances from fake people and things. She places no value on impersonation.

Raashii has a long wish list of actors with whom she would like to collaborate. She has only recently begun working on Hindi projects. She would like to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Varun Dhawan.

The 'Rudra' actor stated unequivocally that she does not react to fake news. It is totally unethical.
