Will it rain today in Delhi?

IMD has forecast a partly cloudy sky for Delhi on September 28. It lists no rain for the day, no expected impact and no action suggested. Winds will blow from the northwest at 5 to 10 kmph in the early hours, pick up to 10 to 15 kmph by afternoon, and turn southwesterly at 5 to 10 kmph in the evening.

Delhi temperature today, September 28

The maximum temperature is likely to be between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius. The minimum may settle between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius. The normal maximum for this time of year is 34.7 degrees Celsius, so days remain a little cooler than usual.

Delhi rain in the last 24 hours

Safdarjung recorded 4.9 mm of rain in the 24 hours ending 8.30 am on September 27. Palam recorded 3.7 mm and Lodi Road 5.2 mm. Delhi Ridge recorded 6.8 mm, while Mayur Vihar got 7.0 mm. No rain was recorded between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm on the same day.

Noida weather today

Noida is likely to see a partly cloudy sky with no rain today. The Noida KVK station at Chholas recorded 26.5 mm of rain in the 24 hours ending 8.30 am on September 27, the highest in the Delhi NCR list. Maximum temperature there was 28.5 degrees Celsius.

Gurgaon weather today

Gurgaon may see a partly cloudy sky today. The Gurgaon KVK station recorded a maximum of 29.9 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 21.9 degrees Celsius on September 27. It recorded no rain in the past 24 hours.

Ghaziabad weather today

IMD expects a partly cloudy sky in Ghaziabad today, with no rain. On September 27, Ghaziabad recorded 4.5 mm of rain, a maximum of 29.0 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 20.8 degrees Celsius.

Faridabad weather today

Faridabad is also likely to see a partly cloudy sky. It recorded a maximum of 31.8 degrees Celsius on September 27, the warmest among the NCR stations in the IMD list. The minimum was 22.3 degrees Celsius, and rain in the past 24 hours was 4.5 mm.

Delhi weather forecast for the next 7 days

IMD lists no rain for Delhi from September 29 to October 3, with a mainly clear sky on all five days. Maximum temperature will rise from 32 to 34 degrees Celsius on September 29 to 33 to 35 degrees Celsius from September 30 to October 3. The minimum will go up from 22 to 24 degrees Celsius to 23 to 25 degrees Celsius by October 1. Northwesterly winds of 15 to 20 kmph are likely in the afternoon from October 1 to 3.

Delhi humidity and wind today

Safdarjung recorded a maximum humidity of 100 percent and a minimum of 63 percent over the past 24 hours. Northeasterly winds of 20 to 25 kmph blew over Delhi, with gusts of 30 to 33 kmph at Palam. Sunset in Delhi today is at 6.11 pm, and sunrise tomorrow is at 6.13 am.

Delhi Monsoon withdrawal 2026

The southwest monsoon withdrew from Delhi on September 23, two days before the normal date of September 25. Last year it withdrew on September 24. The earliest withdrawal since 1961 was on September 3 in 1982, while the latest was on October 17 in 2013. The monsoon reached Delhi on July 2 this year, five days after the normal date of June 27.

Delhi rainfall so far in 2026

Safdarjung recorded 728.6 mm of rain from June 1 to September 23, against a normal of 629.7 mm. That is 16 percent above normal and falls in the normal rainfall category. Rain in September has been lower, with Safdarjung recording 79.6 mm against a normal of 120.9 mm, which is 34 percent below normal.
