The sky remained mostly cloudy, and winds blew from the southwest at 11 km/h, with gusts touching 20 km/h. A short spell of rain was expected to taper off within the hour, according to hourly tracking.


Through the day, temperatures are expected to climb gradually, touching a high of around 29 degrees Celsius by afternoon before dipping again in the evening. Rain chances rise through the day, staying low in the morning hours and climbing past 50 percent by evening, with an afternoon or evening thunderstorm likely in isolated spots.

Bengaluru rain forecast for the next few days

Karnataka's capital is set for a wet stretch this week. As per IMD, the sky is expected to remain generally cloudy with light rain through October 2, before turning partly cloudy from October 3 onward. Minimum temperatures over the next few days are likely to stay around 21 degrees Celsius, while the maximum is expected to touch 32 degrees.

AccuWeather's outlook broadly matches this trend. Wednesday is expected to bring some rain and a thunderstorm, followed by another spell on Thursday afternoon. A relatively drier patch is likely from Friday to Sunday, with mainly clear evenings, though a stray afternoon thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. Rain is expected to pick up again from Monday, October 5, with thunderstorm activity continuing into the following week. Rain probability through this period ranges between 55 and 70 percent on most days.

No weather warning issued for the city

Despite the wet spell, no official weather warning has been issued for Bengaluru so far, according to IMD's latest bulletin. Relative humidity levels were recorded at 70 percent in the morning and are expected to settle around 50 percent by evening, a pattern likely to hold through most of the week.
