Anand Mahindra applauds IIT Bombay students for creating world's first foldable diamond frame e-bike

Mahindra Group chairperson Anand Mahindra, a prominent figure in the business world, recently commended a remarkable achievement by a group of IIT Bombay students on X. In a post shared on Saturday, Mahindra showcased his enthusiasm for the "world's first foldable diamond frame e-bike," which he has actively supported through his investments.

The innovative startup, which has garnered Mahindra's trust and resources, succeeded in creating a foldable e-bike with full-size wheels, distinguishing it from other foldable bikes in the market. Mahindra proudly shared that this groundbreaking vehicle exhibits 35% greater efficiency than its foldable counterparts, a commendable feat in the world of eco-friendly transportation.

Demonstrating his belief in the product, the 68-year-old business leader took his own Hornback X1 for a spin around the office premises. He disclosed his investment in the startup, emphasizing his confidence in the venture.



In Mahindra's own words, "A bunch of IIT Bombay guys have made us proud again. They've created the first foldable diamond frame e-bike with full-size wheels in the world. That makes the bike not only 35% more efficient than other foldable bikes but it makes the bike stable at higher than medium speed.
