'You created it…You made it illegal': David Bier blasts immigration crackdown, Jordan hits back
A birthright citizenship hearing erupted into a sharp clash over immigration and crime after Cato Institute expert David Bier challenged a central argument used by President Donald Trump and his Republican allies. Bier argued that immigrants, including undocumented immigrants, are less likely to commit crimes for which they are incarcerated than U.S.-born Americans, and said immigration overall reduces the likelihood of Americans becoming crime victims.
