'US soldiers will become good food for sharks...': Iran’s IRGC ridicules Trump’s ground op warning

Iran's IRGC spokesperson said on Sunday (March 29) that Trump’s recent threats of ground operations or occupation of any part of Iranian territory, is 'nothing more than a wish.' Speaking on Iranian state TV, Ebrahim Zolfaqari added that any aggression and occupation will not result in anything other than 'humiliating captivity and dismemberment and disappearance of the aggressors.' Iran said on Sunday it was ready to respond to a U.S. ground attack, accusing Washington of preparing a land assault even as it sought negotiations and as regional powers held talks in Pakistan to try to end the fighting.
