‘Senator, don’t make me sound like a liar!’: FBI Chief Patel unloads on Durbin over ICE shooting
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) pressed FBI Director Kash Patel during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing over allegations that the FBI has refused to investigate deadly shootings involving federal agents. In his opening remarks, Durbin also accused Patel of politicizing the FBI and using the bureau’s authority against political opponents of President Donald Trump.
