‘Putin is looking for excuses...’: Zelenskyy hits back at Russia amid fresh attacks on Odesa region

Russian forces continued attacks on Ukraine’s Odesa region, with reports saying two people were injured and one person was killed. Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces carried out overnight drone strikes targeting logistics centres, port and transport infrastructure, communications centres and vessels that Moscow said were linked to the Ukrainian military. The Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Putin was not preparing to end the war, adding that he “always finds some lame excuse” to avoid talks and stop the killing.
