Nepal flash floods: Death toll surpasses 350, over 1,000 still missing; Trump offers aid

Helicopter footage showed widespread devastation in Nepal's Rasuwa district after flash floods and a massive mudslide tore through the mountainous Nepal-China border region on Wednesday (August 26), washing away houses, roads, hotels and border infrastructure. More than 1,000 people were missing in the Himalayan country and neighbouring China after a wall of ice, mud and rock collapsed into a mountain river, triggering a catastrophic flash flood. Police said 359 had died, with dozens of bodies swept down into the plains from where they were being recovered.
