‘It's stupid!’: Bernie Moreno slams Dems over calling Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples’ Day
US Senator Bernie Moreno has ignited fresh controversy as he said that calling Columbus Day Indigenous Peoples' Day is 'Stupid'. Moreno roasted Democrats by quashing their statement that saying 'Happy Columbus Day' is 'racist'. Bernie Moreno joined President Trump at the Youngstown, Ohio rally, highlighting some of the prominent Trump administration's policies. Moreno also turned his attention to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a prominent figure during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fauci has faced criticism from several Republican politicians over pandemic-era decisions, public health guidance, and government accountability. Senator Moreno's speech also pulled Democrats over their opposition to the Voter ID Act, as he criticised their policies while claiming that under Trump's leadership, crime and poverty are at their lowest while wages are at their highest.
