'He is a weirdo, gotta keep him out…’: Vance rips Talarico over ‘grappling with masculinity’ remark

Vice President JD Vance tore into Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico at a Weatherford rally, mocking his past remarks about “grappling” with his masculinity and whiteness. “Stop worrying about your masculinity and start worrying about doing your damn job,” Vance fired back as he campaigned for Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton ahead of the 2026 midterms. Vance also branded Talarico’s politics “weird” as the heated Talarico vs. Paxton Texas Senate battle enters its final stretch before Election Day.
