Afghan crisis: UN chief Antonio Guterres urges united front against Taliban
The United Nations has reiterated its commitment to stay and deliver aid to millions of people in need in Afghanistan. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told reporters in New York the world body will support efforts to restore peace and stability while promoting the rights and dignity of all Afghans. He urged the international community to present a united front against the Taliban following their takeover of Afghanistan.
