US midterm election results earthquake for Donald Trump to be followed by another wave of Jeffrey Epstein files jolts? Republican, Democratic Party House of Representatives are making big move
Epstein files' spectre may once again come back to haunt US politics after midterm elections results.

Republican House of Representative from Kentucky Thomas Massie has talked about securing 218 signatures which is required for supporting Epstein Files Transparency Act II. The House of Representatives are returning to Washington on Monday, NewsWeek reported.
The signatures are essential for House of Representatives to vote on the new legislation.
Democrat House of Representative from California Ro Khanna will also co-sponsor the legislation which will empower officials, attorneys, Epstein files survivors to take legal action. Khanna has claimed the new legislation would prosecute the perpetrators.
Khanna, a fifth-term lawmaker, has made headlines with bipartisan efforts to force the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files and to end the war in Iran.
Massie wrote on X, "When we return next week, we'll get 218 signatures for Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which guarantees a vote". "Survivors will be able to get their own records, State Attorneys General can prosecute crimes, and we can take the DOJ to court for keeping critical files hidden," Massie posted on 'X'.
Earlier this week, billionaire Leon Black has filed a federal defamation lawsuit against California House of Representative Robert Garcia for public comments the Democratic congressman made tying him to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The court filing comes less than two months after the House approved a resolution holding Black in contempt of Congress for defying the Oversight Committee's subpoenas in its investigation into Epstein, AP reported.
A 2021 review commissioned by Apollo found that Black paid Epstein USD158 million from 2012 to 2017, after Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution from a minor. The review said the payments were for “bona fide tax, estate planning and other related services.”
Black co-founded the private equity firm Apollo Global Management and stepped down in 2021 during the fallout over his ties to Epstein. Lawmakers have alleged that Black paid Epstein USD180 million during their yearslong relationship.
