'Stranger Things' Season 5: What we know so far about release date of Netflix show

Stranger Things has been and continues to be one of Netflix's most beloved series since its debut in July 2016. As the seasons have gone by, the excitement of each new season has increased.

Stranger Things in high demand
This Netflix series has been in extremely high demand. When the fourth season was published, it broke all prior watching records. In the first week of volume 1 of season 4's release on Netflix, the show was streamed for 7.2 billion minutes, breaking a Nielsen streaming record. This occurred between May 30 and June 5, 2022. There was such a high demand for volume 2 of the show when it was published. Also, some users experienced crashes as viewers rushed to catch the dramatic conclusion to season 4 on Netflix.

The Duffer brothers revealed that they had started writing Season 5's script in August 2022 and that production would begin sometime in 2023.
