Grand Theft Auto VI is set to arrive on November 19, bringing players back to Vice City in Rockstar Games’ next major release. Pre orders are open, US prices have been announced and digital buyers can prepare for launch with pre loading scheduled to begin on November 12.

GTA 6 price: How much will the game cost

GTA 6 will cost $79.99 for Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition in the US. Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games’ parent company, announced the prices when pre-orders opened.


The Standard Edition includes the base game, while the Ultimate Edition adds premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and other in-game content.

GTA 6 release date and time: When will the game unlock

The US PlayStation Store lists the release time as 12 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on November 19, equivalent to 5 a.m. UTC.

Digital pre-loading is scheduled to begin at midnight local time on November 12, giving players a week to download the game before launch. Rockstar has also announced physical versions containing a download code rather than a disc, with availability scheduled to begin on November 12.

Players should check their platform’s store for the release time that applies to their region. Pre-loading allows the game to be downloaded in advance but does not permit players to start playing before the scheduled release.

GTA 6 release date for PC: Has Rockstar announced a launch date

PC players still need to wait for an official release date. Rockstar has announced GTA 6 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S but hasn't confirmed a PC version or launch window.

Any predicted PC release date remains speculation as Rockstar has not made an announcement. Players looking to buy the game at launch should refer to the company’s confirmed platform listings.

GTA 6 release date and price: What are the available editions

Players can choose between two digital editions of GTA 6, the Standard Edition costs $79.99 and includes the base game. Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 and adds extra in game content, which is including premium vehicles, weapons & apparel.

Standard Edition owners can purchase Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately via supported PlayStation or Xbox stores. Rockstar has not announced a physical Ultimate Edition.

The Vintage Vice City Pack is available with eligible pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026, subject to the promotion’s terms. Eligible digital pre-orders also include one month of GTA+. Buyers must claim the membership, and it renews at the regular monthly rate unless cancelled.

The physical Standard Edition will contain a download code instead of a disc. Rockstar has said the boxed version is expected to become available starting November 12, allowing buyers to redeem their codes and begin pre-loading.

GTA 6 release date for PS5: When can PlayStation users play

PlayStation 5 owners can play GTA 6 from its scheduled launch. And Xbox Series X|S is the other confirmed launch platform.

GTA 6 release date online: What is known about multiplayer

Rockstar has described GTA 6 as a single player experience and it hasn't announced a separate release date or detailed plans for an online multiplayer mode.

That leaves questions for fans of GTA Online, the multiplayer experience associated with Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar has not confirmed when a new online mode connected to GTA 6 might arrive or whether it will launch alongside the single-player game.

GTA 6 release date on Netflix: Has a Netflix version been announced

Rockstar has not announced a playable Netflix version of GTA 6. Video coverage or promotional material featuring the game shouldn't be confused with an announcement that subscribers can download or play it through Netflix.
