Adidas to sell Yeezy designed shoes amid tensions with Kanye West
Kanye West's antisemitic comments have resulted in ADIDAS walking away from the singer along with VOGUE and Balenciaga.

Kanye, however, is no more the brand ambassador of Adidas. The Adidas bosses decided this after Kanye purportedly made antisemitic comments that didn't go down well with the brand's image. Adidas has always stood for inclusiveness, respect for all, and fairness and is for all humans irrespective of their race or colour.
The German company was forced to decide on Kanye West last month after the comments came to light. Kanye was featured in a podcast called Drink Champs, where he boasted that Adidas would continue to support him, even if he made antisemitic comments.
The interview has since been deleted, and Adidas issued a comment stating that it would not tolerate any hate speeches, including antisemitic speeches. The spokesman declared that Ye's (Kanye) comments are hurtful, unacceptable, and dangerous for a particular community. Harm Ohlmeyer, the Chief Financial Officer of Adidas, has discussed with the US outlets how the inventory could be moved at a lesser price as sales have been affected.
Along with Adidas, luxury brands Balenciaga and Vogue magazine also distanced themselves from Kanye West due to his comments. The ex-Puma CEO, Bjorn Gulden, is now the company's current chief executive, joining in January.
