The message comes after she received a flood of unsolicited opinions online. Some praised her appearance, while others speculated about her well-being often in the same comment thread.
In response, Julie made it clear that she didn’t want to be part of those conversations.
On weight loss advice
Julie also addressed those asking her for weight loss advice, reminding them she’s not a medical professional.
“For those who have asked me for advice or tips, I am not qualified to provide this,” she said. “It’s advice that should be sought from your trusted health professionals, not from me. I’m a TV cook.”
Julie ended her post with a message about values and priorities.
“Can we please find something more interesting to talk about? Can we please model kindness to our kids and grandkids? And can we please leave this obsession with people’s looks back in the 1980s,” she wrote. “Peace and love.”
