‘We stand shoulder to shoulder’: Rajnath Singh visits Nepal Embassy, reaffirms India’s support

India has stepped up humanitarian assistance to Nepal after devastating flash floods killed at least 903 people and left thousands missing. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the Nepal Embassy in New Delhi, offered condolences and reaffirmed India’s commitment to Nepal’s search, rescue and rehabilitation efforts. India has provided over 68.5 tonnes of emergency relief materials, along with specialised tunnel rescue teams and forensic experts for DNA analysis and victim identification.
