Watch: Manipur police, Forest Dept. destroy 30 acres of illicit poppy fields in Shongphel hill range
On January 22, a poppy destruction drive occurred along the Shongphel hill range in Ukhrul, Manipur. A joint team consisting of the Manipur Police and the Forest Department carried out the drive. 12 hectares (approx.) of illicit poppy fields and huts destroyed during the operation.
