People are disappearing: PoK activist alleges arrests, killings & crackdown in Pak-occupied Kashmir
PoK activist Amjad Ayub Mirza, speaking from Glasgow, Scotland, alleged that the situation in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir has worsened following the arrest of Joint Awami Action Committee leader Shaukat Nawaz Mir, claiming that more than 600 workers and activists have been detained and that protests and unrest are escalating across the region. He also alleged that authorities are using force against protesters and described the situation as increasingly volatile, while independent verification of these claims was not immediately available.
