‘They Got Their Lesson’: Iran envoy says Arab countries now know America can’t bring peace to them
In New Delhi, Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi said the war was imposed on Iran and expressed hope the ceasefire will hold. He stressed that the Strait of Hormuz remains crucial for global stability and its future depends on Iran’s decisions. He praised India’s diplomatic role, highlighted efforts to ensure safety of Indians in Iran, and said regional countries now realise that the US cannot bring lasting peace.
