Tamil Nadu CM Vijay receives grand welcome in Karur, hands jobs to stampede victims' families

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay visited Karur to hand over compassionate government job appointment orders to 32 family members of those who lost their lives in the 2025 Karur stampede. He also announced that a memorial will be built to honour the victims. During his visit, the Chief Minister attended a TVK public meeting at Atlas Ground, where he questioned the role of the Karur Police in crowd management and launched a political attack on the ruling DMK ahead of the upcoming by-election.
