‘It is a match made for each other’: PM Modi on India-New Zealand strategic partnership

India and New Zealand elevated their relationship to a Strategic Partnership after talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon in Auckland, announcing a Roadmap to 2030 and 18 outcomes spanning trade, defence, maritime security, counterterrorism and other sectors. The two sides also set an aspirational target to double bilateral trade to NZ$7 billion by 2030, while their joint statement outlined cooperation on regional security, maritime issues, agriculture, tourism, research and multilateral engagement.
