Red alert in Gujarat as heavy rain pounds state, flooding low-lying areas
Red alerts for heavy rainfall have been issued for various regions in Gujarat, including Surat, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Rajkot. Ahmedabad was among the areas hit by heavy rainfall which has led to flooding in various parts of the state.
