Adani unveils ₹2 lakh cr power expansion, outlines nuclear future & 5,000 MW Bhutan hydro project

At the AGM 2026, Gautam Adani outlined an ambitious growth roadmap across power, energy and logistics. The Adani Group is implementing India's largest private-sector power capex programme of over ₹2 lakh crore, targeting 45 GW capacity within five years. Adani also announced a 10 GW nuclear energy vision by 2035, a 5,000 MW hydro partnership with Bhutan's Druk Green Power Corporation, and continued expansion of PNG connectivity. On the logistics front, Adani Ports handled over 500 million tonnes of cargo in FY26 and is targeting 1 billion tonnes by 2030. He also highlighted the milestone of Vizhinjam International Seaport crossing 1 million TEUs within a year of operations.
