PM Modi visits Ram Setu's origin point in Tamil Nadu ahead of 'Pran Pratishtha' in Ayodhya
Before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya tomorrow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Arichalmunai on Sunday, which is said to be the place from which the Ram Setu was built.

Modi's visit to southern India in Tamil Nadu is part of his Ramayana-Connect sojourn in the state. After visiting Arichalmunai, Modi also paid floral tributes at the seashore.

A video has been released on PM's visit. In the video, PM could be seen practising 'pranayama' (breathing exercise) on the beach, and he also offered prayers.

During his 3-day tour of Tamil Nadu, PM inaugurated the Khelo India Games 2023 in Chennai on Friday and then offered prayers at the Sri Ranganathaswamy temple at Sri Rangam in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruchirapalli in traditional Tamil attire.

It is said that Ram Setu, also known as Adam's Bridge, was constructed by Lord Ram with the help of the 'Vaanara sena' to travel to Lanka to wage war against Ravana.

The Prime Minister also laid flowers on the beach and paid floral tributes at a pillar erected there with the national emblem.

PM Modi also visited temples in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala earlier this year, which are related to Lord Ram or the epic Ramayana.
