Piyush Goyal flags India’s ‘AI-proof’ strengths, pushes tech, investment ties with Germany

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has highlighted India’s traditional strengths in an AI-driven world, saying that no amount of artificial intelligence can replace the country’s handicrafts, handloom, culinary skills and tourism. Speaking after engagements during his Germany visit, Goyal said India’s skilled workforce, youthful population and traditional expertise offer opportunities for global leadership. He also highlighted India-Germany cooperation in technology, innovation, manufacturing and research and development.
