Noida techie case: CM Yogi orders SIT probe after Yuvraj Mehta’s fatal accident, CEO removed

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered a Special Investigation Team probe into the tragic accident of 27-year-old software engineer Yuvraj Mehta, whose car fell into a water-filled pit at a Noida construction site on January 17, 2026. Following the incident, the UP government removed the CEO of Noida and the MD of Noida Metro Rail Corporation. NDRF assists in car recovery, and an FIR has been registered against the developers, while the victim’s father demands accountability.
