Nepal floods: IAF's C-130J flies relief, 105 Indians missing; Bihar, UP brace for Gandak surge

Nepal’s devastating flash floods have triggered a major regional response, with India stepping up relief and flood preparedness. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Nepal PM Balendra Shah, Indian Air Force has dispatched a C-130J transport aircraft carrying relief material to Nepal. Meanwhile, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are on high alert over a downstream surge through the Gandak River. Bihar has opened all 36 gates of the Gandak Barrage at Valmikinagar as authorities monitor the situation.
